L'épreuve organisée hier par le Triathlon Club des Marsouins a été boudé par les tête d'affiche du triathlon péï, laissant le champ libre aux plus téméraires qui se sont affrontés dans la montée cycliste vers la Plaine des Palmistes.
Certainement refroidis par les cas de leptospirose contractés en mars dernier lors du triathlon de St Benoit, les triathlètes ont largement boudé le triathlon du TCM St Benoit Plaine des Palmistes hier. Absents les Macé, Lebreton, Salesses, Desfarges, Marcy et compagnie. Du coup, le sociétaire du CAC Philippe Compin en profite et s'offre une première victoire sur cette épreuve. La sensation du jour vient de la jeune cadette du BDN, Elina Starck qui s'impose dans la course féminine et prend une remarquable 3ème place au scratch.
L'absence de concurrents sur le triathlon a pour une fois profité au duathlon qui s'offrait un joli plateau d'athlètes: Arnaud Moel l'emporte devant l'inusable Philippe Gisbert et le nouveau venu sur le triple effort Jean Denis Armand.
